If you plan to travel internationally by plane, many countries require you to carry an English-language medication certificate. Some destinations have strict regulations around the import of medications, including India, Turkey, Pakistan, and the United Arab Emirates. Please check the entry requirements for your destination in advance.
At Juniper, we can issue an English medication certificate upon request. To request one, please send a Help Request Form with your travel dates. We recommend reaching out at least one week before your departure.
For international travel:
- Bring an English medication certificate (especially for destinations with strict import laws).
- Do not store your medication in checked baggage, as freezing temperatures may damage it.
- If you’re traveling with Ozempic or Mounjaro, keep them in an insulin-specific cooler pouch.
For domestic travel:

You can carry your medication without a certificate.

New, unused Ozempic pens should be stored in the refrigerator at 36°F to 46°F (2°C to 8°C).

Ozempic pens in use can be stored at room temperature between 59°F and 86°F (15°C to 30°C) or in the refrigerator at 36°F to 46°F (2°C to 8°C).

Mounjaro should be kept refrigerated, between 36°F and 46°F (2°C to 8°C).
国際線の飛行機に乗って、海外旅行をする場合は、英文の薬剤証明書などの携帯が必要な場合が多いです。渡航する国によっては、医薬品の輸入に関する法律が厳しい場合があります。インド、トルコ、パキスタン、アラブ首長国連邦などの一部の国では、これに対して厳格なルールが設けられています。
ジュニパーでは、英文の薬剤証明書のみの発行が可能となっております。ご旅行日程をご記入の上、ケア・チームにヘルプリクエストをお送りください。（ご旅行の1週間前までに、ご連絡いただくことをおすすめします。）
- 国内のご旅行や車での移動の場合は、薬剤証明書を携帯していなくても、医薬品をお持ちいただけます。
- 一度使用した医薬品は、使用後21日までは、冷蔵保存の必要はありませんので、ご安心ください。
- オゼンピック・注射ペンは、保管温度が30°C以下に保たれていれば、ご旅行や冷蔵庫のない場所にも持ち運びが可能です。
- 未使用のオゼンピック・注射ペンを持ち運び、6週間以上使用しない場合は、インスリンペン専用の保冷ポーチに保管してください。
- 凍結の恐れがあるため、医薬品を預け入れ手荷物に入れることは避けてください。
